Who We Are
FinBase Learning is a Pakistani financial education platform built for one simple purpose — to make financial knowledge accessible to every Pakistani, in the language they actually speak.
We cover Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), company analysis, mutual funds, government securities, economy, and investing — all explained in simple Roman Urdu, without jargon, without confusion.
Why FinBase Exists
Pakistan mein ek badi problem hai.
Har taraf log “yeh lo, woh lo, is mein invest karo” kehte hain — lekin koi yeh nahi batata ke kyun. Koi fundamentals nahi samjhata. Koi research nahi sikhaata. Log blindly invest karte hain, nuksaan uthate hain, aur phir market ko blame karte hain.
The reality is simple: the knowledge was always there — just not in the right language, for the right people.
FinBase Learning was founded in February 2026 to change exactly that. We believe every Pakistani — whether a student, a salaried professional, a small business owner, or a homemaker — deserves to understand how money works, how markets move, and how to make informed financial decisions.
Not because it is complicated. But because no one explained it properly.
Meet The Founder
Sarmad Razzaq is a 27-year-old IT graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, specializing in digital marketing and blogging. With over 5 years of hands-on experience in finance, trading, and investing, Sarmad combines his technical background with deep market knowledge to create content that is both accurate and genuinely easy to understand.
He started FinBase Learning after observing a simple but painful pattern — Pakistanis losing money not because markets are bad, but because they lacked the basic financial literacy to make informed decisions.
His response was equally simple: teach them. Daily. In their own language.
“Financial freedom should not be a privilege of the elite. Every Pakistani has the right to understand their money.”
What We Do
At FinBase Learning, we create daily financial education content covering:
- Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) — how it works, how to invest, company analysis
- Mutual Funds — types, risks, returns, how to choose
- Government Securities — T-Bills, PIBs, Sukuk explained simply
- Economy & Inflation — SBP policy, interest rates, rupee value
- Financial Concepts — compounding, SIP, FIRE, valuation ratios
- Company Research — detailed breakdowns of listed Pakistani companies
All content is delivered in Roman Urdu — the language 220 million Pakistanis actually communicate in — through daily voice notes on WhatsApp, short videos on social media, and our FinBase Audio Academy.
Our Mission
“Empower 300,000 Pakistanis with financial literacy by 2027.”
This is not just a number. It is a commitment.
We measure success not in views or followers — but in how many Pakistanis start making better financial decisions because of what they learned here. Every episode, every article, every calculator on this website exists for that one goal.
Free Financial Tools
We have built a suite of free financial calculators designed specifically for Pakistani investors:
Zakat Calculator, FIRE Calculator, SIP Calculator, Compound Interest Calculator, Inflation Impact Calculator, Savings Goal Calculator, and PSX Return Calculator — all available free, no login required.
